Apparatus
The Fish Hill Fire Company operates six apparatus out of two stations. The apparatus consist of two pumpers, one tanker, one quint, one brush truck, and one ALS ambulance. The apparatus that respond from Station 1 are part of the Fish Hill Fire Company No. 1, while the apparatus that respond from Station 2 are part of the Fish Hill Fire Company No. 2.
Engine 32
Engine 32 is a 1994 Pierce Dash pumper. It has a 1500 GPM top mount pump, a 750 gallon water tank, and 10 gallons of Class A and Class B foam. It is equipped with haz-mat gear, heavy extrication equipment, Hurst combination tools, the Jaws of Life, RIT supplies, and ALS medical equipment. This truck functions as a pumper and a rescue vehicle. It responds first out to all motor vehicle accidents out of Station 1.
Truck 33
Truck 33 is a 2006 KME Excel 75 ft. quint. It has a 1500 GPM pump and a 750 gallon water tank. This truck carries ALS medical gear, RIT gear, Hurst combination tools, and RIT gear. Although Truck 33 primarily responds as an aerial unit, it can be utilized as an engine company. This truck responds from Station 1.
Tanker 34
Tanker 34 is a 2006 Kenworth/Excel. It has a 1500 GPM pump and a 3000 gallon water tank. It carries rural firefighting equipment, BLS medical equipment, a 3000 gallon folding tank, hard suction hoses, and 16 ft. ground ladders. This truck is a Tanker Task Force Responder and can respond as an engine if needed where no hydrants are present.
Brush 35
Brush 35 is a 1978 AM General 6x6 military vehicle. It was acquired from the Department of Environmental Management. It has a 250 GPM pump and a 1200 gallon water tank. It carries basic brush firefighting tools, has 6x6 capabilities, and has BLS medical equipment. Brush 35 is a Tanker Task Force Responder. This truck responds primarily as a brush truck but can also act as a tanker if needed. Brush 35 responds from Station 2.
Tanker 36
Tanker 36 is a 2007 Kenworth/Pierce pumper. It has a 1250 GPM front mount pump and a 3000 gallon elliptical water tank. This truck is equipped with BLS medical gear, rural firefighting equipment, and a 3000 gallon folding tank. Tanker 36 responds first out for all calls from Station 2.
Engine 37
Engine 37 is a 1990 Ford C/Pierce. It has a 1250 GPM pump and a 1000 gallon water tank. It is equipped with rural firefighting equipment, basic engine company equipment, TnT extrication equipment, and ALS medical equipment. This truck responds first out for all calls from Station 2.
Rescue 3
Rescue 3 is a 2008 Dodge Ram 4500/PL Custom. It is equipped with 4x4 capabilities and carries heart monitors, various IV drugs, Holomatro tools, a vacuum split, a portable pulse oxymeter, a stair chair, an automatic ventilator machine, and other ALS equipment. Rescue 3 responds to all medical calls from Station 1, although it covers the area of Station 2 as well.
